Louisiana State House Session 2013 – HB 23-32

I am going to be giving a quick 2-3 (sometimes more for more interesting bills) sentence summary of each of the Louisiana State House and Senate 2013 Bills. I will be doing about 10 an entry and a few entries a day until I get caught up. Once I am caught up, I will cover new bills as they are filed. This entry covers House Bills 23- 32.
House Bill 31 (HB31)- (Montoucet) requires the DOTD to make information about proposed projects available in certain places as well as providing maps and information on miles of roads effected. It also would allow a deleted project to be potentially replaced if certain conditions are met.
House Bill 32 (HB32)– (Thibaut) dedicates 10% of the state’s income from activity on water bottoms of False River(up to $100,000 per year) to operation, management, and improvements, (including aquatic plant control) of the lake
