I have more summaries of the Senate Concurrent Resolutions for the 2013 Session of the Louisiana Legislature.

This covers Senate Concurrent Resolutions 11-16. (As of my writing this 16 is the last one up on the site)

Senate Concurrent Resolution 11 (SCR11)– (Claitor) To urge the International Olympic Committee to reconsider getting rid of Olympic Wrestling. 

Senate Concurrent Resolution 12 (SCR12)- (Amedee) Creates a task force to study and make recommendations related to the capitol park, with respect to the state capitol building, traffic congestion, Capitol Lake, and the surrounding infrastructure.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 13 (SCR13)- (Kostelka) Commends Dr. Daniel D. “Dan” Reneau, the retiring Louisiana Tech University President.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 14 (SCR14)- (Cortez) Recognizes May 2013 as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) Awareness Month. Urges the US Congress to provide additional research funding for treatments and cures for the disease.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 15 (SCR15)– (Claitor) Urges Louisiana residents to get routine colorectal screening examinations. Recognizes these exams as potentially life saving and encourages Louisiana residents to recognize them as such.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 16 (SCR16)– (Dorsey- Colomb) Commends the Public Administration Institute Student Association (PAISA) at LSU and recognizes April 13, 2013, as the 15th annual PAISA Day.
